Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the travel clinic in Peel Region?

Peel Travel Clinic is located at 550 Matheson Blvd W, Unit 107, Mississauga, ON L5R 4B8 — in the heart of Peel Region. We serve residents of Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon, and the surrounding areas. We are a designated yellow fever vaccination centre, making us one of the few clinics in Peel Region authorized to issue official yellow fever certificates (ICVP).

What makes Peel Region a unique travel health market?

Peel Region has one of Canada's most diverse immigrant populations. A significant proportion of residents travel to visit family in India, Pakistan, the Philippines, Nigeria, Ghana, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Caribbean, and other destinations where travel health preparation is critical. VFR (visiting friends and relatives) travel carries higher health risks than tourism, and our clinic has expertise in serving this community with destination-specific advice.

Is Peel Travel Clinic a designated yellow fever centre?

Yes — Peel Travel Clinic is a designated yellow fever vaccination centre authorized by Health Canada and the Public Health Agency of Canada to administer yellow fever vaccine and issue the official International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP). Not all travel clinics or pharmacies are designated centres. Only designated centres can issue the legally recognized yellow card required for entry into many African and South American countries.

Does Peel Travel Clinic serve patients from Brampton?

Yes — Brampton residents are among our most frequent patients. Brampton has a large South Asian community with significant travel to India, Pakistan, and other destinations requiring comprehensive travel vaccine packages. We are located approximately 15–20 minutes from most of Brampton via Hwy 410 South to Matheson Blvd W.

Does Peel Travel Clinic offer walk-in travel health consultations?

We recommend booking appointments in advance to ensure availability with our travel medicine physician. Same-day and next-day appointments may be available for urgent pre-travel consultations — call us directly at (905) 890-2757 to check availability. We do not offer walk-in travel consultations without an appointment as they require time with a physician to review your itinerary and medical history.
